Rhinotropis cornuta, which has the synonym Polygala cornuta, is a species of flowering plant in the milkwort family. Its common name is Sierra milkwort. It is native to many mountain ranges in California and northern Baja California, where it grows in habitat types including chaparral and forest. It is a rhizomatous perennial herb or shrub that can reach a maximum height of over 2 meters, and it grows either spreading or erect. Its leaves are linear, lance-shaped, or narrowly oval, growing up to 6.5 centimeters long, and they are widely spaced along the plant's branches. The inflorescence is a short arrangement of flowers, with flower colors ranging from greenish or yellowish white to pink. Each flower has two winglike lateral sepals, and the keeled central petal ends in a short beak. The fruit produced by this plant is a brownish flattened capsule.
