About Rhinomyias olivaceus (Hume, 1877)

The fulvous-chested jungle flycatcher (scientific name Cyornis olivaceus, previously classified as Rhinomyias olivaceus (Hume, 1877)) is a bird species that belongs to Muscicapidae, the Old World flycatcher family. It is distributed across Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, and Thailand. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests. This species was originally placed in the genus Rhinomyias, but was moved to the genus Cyornis following the results of a 2010 molecular phylogenetic study.
