Renia sobrialis, commonly called the sober renia, is a litter moth belonging to the family Erebidae. This species was first formally described by Francis Walker in 1859. Its range extends from Nova Scotia south to Florida, and west to the U.S. states of Mississippi and Minnesota. The wingspan of adult individuals measures between 24 and 27 millimeters. Adults of this species can be seen in flight from April through September each year. The caterpillar larvae of Renia sobrialis feed on dead leaves.
