Redectis pygmaea, commonly known as the pygmy redectis, is a litter moth that belongs to the family Erebidae. This species was first formally described by Augustus Radcliffe Grote in 1878. In the United States, it can be found in the range stretching from New York to Florida, extending westward to Texas. This moth has a wingspan of approximately 14 millimeters. Adult individuals of this species are active in flight between June and September each year.
