Raphismia bispina is a dragonfly species that belongs to the family Libellulidae, and it is commonly known as the spiny-chested percher. Its distribution spans Malaysia, the Philippines, Indonesia, New Guinea, and Australia. It is the only species from the genus Raphismia found in Australia, where it inhabits mangrove swamps located on Cape York, Queensland. This is a small dragonfly species that has a metallic-black body color; mature individuals develop a powdery blue pruinescent coating.
