About Rapala caerulea (Bremer & Grey, 1853)
Rapala caerulea, commonly known as the bush clover, is a butterfly species belonging to the family Lycaenidae. It was first described by Otto Vasilievich Bremer and William Grey, with its publication in 1853. This species occurs in north-eastern and central China, Taiwan, Korea, and the Russian Far East. The forewings of adult individuals measure 16–17 mm in length. The wings are light blue with a dark border; this dark border is strongly widened on the forewings of females. The larvae of Rapala caerulea feed on Rosa multiflora and plant species from the genus Rhamnus.
