Raoulia hookeri Allan is a small, mat-forming perennial plant. It has silver leaves and tiny yellow flowers. The flowers bloom in summer, and after blooming, they develop into daisy-like seed heads. This species grows on both the North Island and the South Island of New Zealand. It inhabits montane to subalpine areas, and is especially found on open ground like grasslands and herbfields.
