About Puccinia oxalidis Dietel & Ellis
Puccinia oxalidis Dietel & Ellis is a species of fungus belonging to the genus Puccinia. This fungus causes rust disease in plants of the genus Oxalis, including the species Oxalis articulata. Signs of the disease appear as yellow dots on the undersides of infected leaves. The aecial life stage of Puccinia oxalidis can also be found growing on Berberis repens. The species was originally discovered growing on Oxalis species in Mexico.
