The scientific name of this species is Psyllobora parvinotata Casey, 1899. Adult individuals of Psyllobora parvinotata grow to a body length between approximately 2.75 mm and 3.40 mm. The adult colour pattern of this species is similar to that of Psyllobora vigintimaculata. However, the pronotum of Psyllobora parvinotata often lacks any spots, or only has pale spots. In addition, the spots located on the elytron of this species are paler than the corresponding spots on Psyllobora vigintimaculata.
