About Psyllobora borealis Casey, 1899

Scientific name: Psyllobora borealis Casey, 1899. Description: Adult Psyllobora borealis grow to a length between 2.4 mm and 3.1 mm. This species has dark splotches on its elytra, and lighter splotches on its pronotum. When compared to the related species Psyllobora vigintimaculata, P. borealis can be distinguished by its much smaller lateral spot, which is always completely separate from its median spot.
