Size

For distribution and habitat, the green-eared barbet is a resident breeding species found in southern China, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, and Vietnam.
Habitat
It lives in broadleaf evergreen forests, mixed woodlands, and open woodlands, at elevations up to 900 m (3,000 ft).
Nesting Behavior
In terms of behaviour and ecology, the green-eared barbet nests inside tree holes.
