Pseudoblabes oophora Zeller, 1853 shows distinct sexual dimorphism in appearance. In males, the head and thorax are yellowish white. The forewings are primarily dark greyish, while the basal, costal, and outer regions are yellowish white; the costal band expands into a patch at the center of the wing. Male hindwings are ochreous, and the marginal area is slightly suffused with fuscous. In females, the hindwings are fuscous and have yellow cilia.
