This species has the scientific name Pseudeuophrys erratica (Walckenaer, 1826). Males of this species reach a body length of 3 to 4 millimeters, while females can grow up to 5 millimeters long. Adults can be found during spring and summer; females may also be found in autumn. P. erratica has a widespread natural distribution across Europe and Asia, and it has been introduced to the United States. Within the United States, this species has been reported from Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, Massachusetts, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and Vermont.
