Pseudalsophis steindachneri, commonly called the Striped Galapagos snake, is a species of snake belonging to the family Colubridae. This species is named in honor of Franz Steindachner, an Austrian zoologist, ichthyologist, and herpetologist who published more than 200 scientific papers focused on fishes, and over 50 papers focused on reptile and amphibian species. This snake is geographically found on Baltra Island and Santa Cruz Island in the Galápagos Islands.
