Within Borneo, the species occurs in Brunei, East Malaysia, and Kalimantan.

It is also found across the Malay Peninsula, including Singapore, and on the Indonesian islands of Sumatra, Belitung, Bangka, Simeulue, as well as in Indonesia's Riau Archipelago.
