About Psalmopoeus reduncus (Karsch, 1880)

Females of this species can live up to 12 years, while males have a maximum lifespan of up to 3 years. Fully grown individuals can reach a size of up to 15 centimeters. The body is chestnut brown, and some individuals develop chevron patterns on the abdomen. Juveniles typically have abdomens that range from golden to copper in color. Like other species in the Psalmopoeus genus, this species does not have urticating hairs.
