Prunus humilis Bunge, called 欧李 in Chinese, is a bush cherry species that is native to northern China. This plant is cultivated to produce its edible fruit. Chloroplast DNA sequencing has confirmed that its closest relative, when considering only chloroplast-related data, is Prunus dictyoneura.
