About Protoboarmia porcelaria (Guenée, 1857)
Protoboarmia porcelaria, commonly known as the porcelain gray or dash-lined looper, is a moth species belonging to the Geometrid family. This species is distributed across most of North America, with the exception of the region's far northern areas. It was first formally described by Achille Guenée in 1857, and its scientific name is Protoboarmia porcelaria (Guenée, 1857).
