Proiphys cunninghamii, commonly known as the Moreton Bay lily, is a herbaceous species that grows a bulb up to 5 centimeters in diameter. It inhabits rainforests and rainforest margins in eastern Australia. Its flowering period typically falls between November and December. Normal seed development has never been observed in this species.
