Pristimantis bogotensis, commonly called the Bogota robber frog, is a frog species that belongs to the family Strabomantidae.

Geographic Distribution

This species is endemic to Colombia, and it has only been recorded in the Cundinamarca Department, which includes the Bogotá region, located on the Cordillera Oriental.

Native Habitats

Its native natural habitats are tropical moist montane forests and high-altitude páramo grassland.

Adaptation to Disturbance

It can adapt to habitat disturbance, and can also survive on pastureland as long as some shrubs are still present.
