Primula hirsuta All., commonly known as the hairy primrose, is a flowering plant species belonging to the Primulaceae family. It is native to the central Pyrenees and the Alps, and has been introduced to Germany. This plant is a clump-forming evergreen perennial that typically grows to 10 cm (4 in) tall, and may occasionally grow larger. It naturally occurs in the subalpine biome at elevations ranging from 220 to 3,600 m (700 to 11,800 ft). It can be purchased from commercial plant suppliers.
