About Potentilla pulcherrima Lehm.

Potentilla pulcherrima Lehm., which has the synonym Potentilla gracilis var. pulcherrima, is commonly known as beautiful cinquefoil, soft cinquefoil, or whiteleaf cinquefoil. It is a species of flowering plant belonging to the family Rosaceae. This plant is native to Canada, as well as northern and west-central regions of the United States, and it has a separate disjunct population located in Connecticut. It is recognized for the shiny abaxial (lower) surfaces of its leaves. It is a perennial shrub that grows up to 30 inches (76 cm) tall and produces yellow flowers.
