Potanthus serina, commonly known as the large dart, is a butterfly species belonging to the family Hesperiidae. It can be found in the Andaman Islands, southern Burma, Singapore, and the Philippines. Its natural habitat includes both grassy areas and mangrove areas. This species has a wingspan of approximately 35 millimetres, or 1.4 inches, and it is the largest species within the genus Potanthus.
