Poranthera ericifolia Rudge is a small shrub that grows 15 to 30 centimetres tall. It is typically found growing on sandstone in heath landscapes or dry eucalyptus woodland areas in the Australian state of New South Wales. The specific epithet ericifolia was chosen because the plant's foliage resembles that of plants in the Erica genus.
