Polypogon tentacularia (Linnaeus, 1758) is a litter moth species belonging to the family Erebidae. Carl Linnaeus first described this species in 1758, in the 10th edition of his work Systema Naturae. This moth is found in Europe. Its wingspan measures approximately 30 millimetres, which equals 1.2 inches. Depending on location, the adult moth flies between June and July. The larvae of this species feed on Taraxacum officinale, goldenrod, and hawkweed.
