About Podotheca angustifolia (Labill.) Less.

Podotheca angustifolia (Labill.) Less. is an annual herb that produces yellow flowers. It can grow in growth forms ranging from trailing along the ground to an erect habit. When growing erect, it can reach up to 30 centimetres in height, but it usually grows no taller than 20 centimetres. This species has a swollen, nearly succulent stem and a slender woody taproot. Its glandular hairs produce sticky secretions that make the plant sticky to the touch. It occurs in the southern regions of Australia. While it was historically recorded in Tasmania, it is now presumed to be extinct there.
