About Poa cuspidata Nutt.

Poa cuspidata Nutt. is a rhizomatous perennial grass species. Its culms grow in loose tufts and reach heights between 3 to 6 decimeters, which equals 12 to 24 inches. Its leaf blades are 2 to 4 millimeters (0.079 to 0.157 inches) wide. The leaf sheaths are covered in fine hairs, with the most dense pubescence found at the base of the sheaths. This species produces a loose, nodding panicle, whose branches hold spikelets that each contain three or four flowers.
