This species has a wingspan measuring 34 to 46 mm. Its forewings are deep golden brown, with a golden metallic sheen on the base of the costa, the inner margin of the median area, and an oblique patch located before the apex. All lines on the forewings are oblique and dark brown, and the veins are also dark brown. At the base of vein 2, there is a large silvery rounded blotch, with a smaller, more elongated blotch beyond it. The lowest streak of the apical blotch, below vein 6, and a spot at the base of the costa are silvery as well. The hindwings are bronzy fuscous, with a pinkish fringe.
