Pleurosticta acetabulum (Neck.) Elix & Lumbsch is a foliose lichen species that belongs to the family Parmeliaceae. This lichen is common and widespread across Europe, where it typically grows on tree bark. It has also been documented growing in Algeria. A number of lichenicolous fungi have been recorded growing on Pleurosticta acetabulum: these are Abrothallus acetabuli, Lichenoconium erodens, and Stigmidium acetabuli.
