Distribution Range General

This species is endemic to the Philippines, found across the entire Philippine archipelago with the exception of Palawan.

Confirmed Island Range

Its confirmed range specifically includes the islands of Luzon, Mindoro, Leyte, Samar, Siquijor, Bohol, Cebu, Negros, Panay, and Mindanao.

Natural Habitat

Its natural habitats are tropical moist lowland forest, and subtropical or tropical moist montane forest.

Status and Threats

It is currently threatened by habitat loss, and it is one of the most common species of the genus Platymantis found in the Philippines.
