About Plantago debilis R.Br.

Plantago debilis R.Br. is an herb that can be either annual or perennial. It grows up to 20 centimetres tall, has a slender taproot, and produces green or white flowers. This species is native to Australia, where it can be found in every Australian state and territory. It grows best in moist sandy soils. The Noongar people of south-west Western Australia have used this plant by heating and crushing its leaves to obtain liquid. The resulting preparation was used to make poultices for treating sprains, ulcers, and boils.
