Plagodis phlogosaria, commonly known as the scorched wing or straight-lined plagodis, is a moth species belonging to the family Geometridae. This species is distributed across most of North America, excluding the far southern region, Yukon, and Alaska. Its wingspan measures 28 to 38 millimeters. The adult moth is active from April to August, with the flight period varying by location. The larvae of Plagodis phlogosaria feed on alder, basswood, birch, black cherry, chokecherry, hazel, and willow.
