Plagiotremus tapeinosoma (Bleeker, 1857), commonly known as the mimic blenny or piano fangblenny, is a blenny belonging to the genus Plagiotremus.

Distribution

It has a widespread distribution across the Indo-Pacific region, including New Zealand, and can be found at depths ranging from 8 to 30 metres (26 to 98 ft).

Size

This species grows to a maximum total length of 14 centimetres (5.5 in).
