Pinguicula heterophylla Benth. is a perennial carnivorous plant that forms rosettes. It belongs to Lentibulariaceae, the flowering plant family. This species is endemic to Mexico, found only in the Mexican states of Morelos, Guerrero, and Oaxaca. George Bentham first described Pinguicula heterophylla in 1840, using plant material that had been collected by Karl Theodor Hartweg.
