Pinalia ovata, with the scientific name Pinalia ovata (Lindl.) W.Suarez & Cootes, is an orchid species distributed from the Ryukyu Islands and Taiwan to the Philippines. It is an epiphytic plant that grows at elevations below 800 m (2,600 ft). This species is an erect, sympodial orchid that bears pseudobulbs measuring 100โ€“250 mm (3.9โ€“9.8 in) long and 10โ€“20 mm (0.39โ€“0.79 in) in diameter. It produces around 4 to 5 narrowly elliptic leaves, which are 120โ€“160 mm (4.7โ€“6.3 in) long and 35โ€“45 mm (1.4โ€“1.8 in) wide.
