Phytoecia nigricornis is a species of beetle that belongs to the family Cerambycidae. This species was originally described by Johan Christian Fabricius in 1781, and was first placed under the genus Saperda. It has a wide distribution across Europe. Adult individuals of this beetle measure between 8 and 13 millimeters (0.31 and 0.51 inches) in length. Its known host plants are Glebionis segetum, Solidago virgaurea, Artemisia campestris, Artemisia absinthium, Artemisia vulgaris, Artemisia sieversiana, Leucanthemum vulgare, and Tanacetum vulgare.
