Phytoecia cylindrica (Linnaeus, 1758) is a species of beetle belonging to the family Cerambycidae. This species was first formally described by Carl Linnaeus in 1758. It has a wide distribution across the entire region of Europe. Adult beetles of this species reach a body length between 6 and 12 mm, which equals 0.24 to 0.47 inches. Its recorded host food plants are Daucus carota, Laserpitium siler, Astrantia major, Anthriscus sylvestris, and Heracleum sphondylium.
