About Physaria globosa (Desv.) O'Kane & Al-Shehbaz
Physaria globosa is a small plant covered in dense hairs that give it a grayish appearance. It produces yellow flowers during the spring, and it bears globe-shaped fruits. The species prefers to grow in dry limestone cliffs, barrens, cedar glades, steep wooded slopes, and talus areas. Many of its known growing sites are located on roadsides, where the plant is threatened by road construction and maintenance activities including mowing, herbicide use, road widening, and road repaving.
