Phuopsis stylosa, commonly known as the Caucasian crosswort or large-styled crosswort, is a low-growing, mat-forming aromatic perennial plant belonging to the Rubiaceae family, which is also called the madder or bedstraw family. It bears whorls of narrow aromatic leaves and terminal clusters of tubular pink flowers. This species is native to the Caucasus and Iran, and is widely cultivated as a garden plant in other regions. Its scent can be mistaken for the odor of some Cannabis species.
