Phlox cuspidata, commonly called pointed phlox, is a flowering plant species in the Polemoniaceae family. It is native to the U.S. states of Oklahoma, Texas, and Louisiana. This is an annual plant that grows up to 25 cm (10 inches) tall. Its hybridization dynamics with Phlox drummondii, as well as its partial reproductive isolation from that species, are a topic of ongoing scientific research.
