About Phlebia coccineofulva Schwein.
Phlebia coccineofulva, commonly known as the scarlet waxcrust, is a crust fungus species that belongs to the family Meruliaceae. Lewis David de Schweinitz first described this fungus as a new species in 1832. It can be found in North America, continental Europe, and northern Asia. In these regions, Phlebia coccineofulva grows as a saprophyte on decaying stumps and woody forest debris.
