Phallus luteus is a fungus species that belongs to the stinkhorn family. This species was first formally described in 1936 under the name Dictyophora lutea, and was reclassified and moved to the genus Phallus in 2009. It has a wide distribution across Asia, where it can be found in China, Korea, Japan, and India. Specimens of this species have also been collected in Mexico.
