About Phallaria ophiusaria Guenée, 1857

Phallaria ophiusaria, commonly called the large leaf moth, is the only species in the monotypic moth genus Phallaria, which belongs to the moth family Geometridae. Both the genus Phallaria and the species Phallaria ophiusaria were first described by Achille Guenée in 1857. This moth is recorded from the Australian states of New South Wales, Queensland, and Victoria. Its wingspan measures approximately 70 mm.
