Phacelia eisenii Brandegee is an annual herb that grows in an erect form, reaching a maximum height of 10 to 15 centimeters, or 4 to 6 inches. The entire plant has a glandular, hairy texture. Its leaves range from lance-shaped to oval, and measure 1 to 2 centimeters, or 2/5 to 4/5 of an inch, long. The hairy inflorescence is a small, one-sided curving or coiling cyme made up of bell-shaped flowers. Each flower is less than half a centimeter, or 1/4 of an inch, long, and its color ranges from white to pale lavender.
