Phacelia bipinnatifida Michx. has the common names purple phacelia, fernleaf phacelia, and spotted phacelia. It is a species of phacelia native to the southeastern United States. This is a biennial plant that grows up to 2 feet, or 61 centimetres, tall. Its flowers bloom in spring; they are round, lavender-blue in color, and reach up to two centimeters in diameter. It grows in cool, moist woods.
