About Perizoma verberata (Scopoli, 1763)

Perizoma verberata (Scopoli, 1763) has a wingspan of 24–32 mm. The wings have a whitish background color. The upperside of the forewings displays three to five thin, gray-brown, wavy lines. The whitish hindwings have one or two indistinct transverse lines. There are small black dots at the base of all of its wings. This species occurs mainly in the mountainous regions of Central Europe, stretching from Spain through the Alps and the Balkan Peninsula to Western Asia.
