About Peperomia caperata Ruiz & Pav. ex Yunck.

Peperomia caperata, commonly known as emerald ripple peperomia, is a flowering plant species in the Piperaceae family that is native to Brazil. This plant is an evergreen perennial that grows in mound shapes, reaching 20 cm (8 in) in both height and width. It produces corrugated, heart-shaped leaves, and bears narrow spikes of white flowers 5–8 cm (2–3 in) long during the summer. Because it requires a minimum temperature of 15 °C (59 °F), P. caperata must be grown as an indoor plant in most temperate regions.
