About Pelopidas agna (Moore)
Scientific name: Pelopidas agna (Moore). In 1891, Edward Yerbury Watson provided this description: The upperside of the wings is glossy olive-brown. The forewing has a series of six very small, rather indistinct whitish semi-transparent spots that curve from before the apex to the middle of the wing. Below these spots sits a short oblique pale impressed streak, which has black suffusion along its anterior margin. The cilia are pale brown. The underside of the wings is pale brown. The spots on the forewing match the arrangement seen on the upperside, but are less clearly defined. The hindwing has a curved discal series of white dots, plus a single dot near its base. The underside of the palpi and body are pale brownish-yellow. Spots are much less prominent in the dry season form of Pelopidas agna than in the wet season form.
