About Pedicularis sudetica Willd.

Pedicularis sudetica Willd. has the common names fernweed, Sudeten lousewort, Sedetic lousewort, and Sudetic lousewort. It is a species of flowering plant in the family Orobanchaceae. It is native to Poland, the former Czechoslovakia, and northern Russia extending to the Urals. After being introduced, it can now also be found in the United States states of Alaska, Colorado, New Mexico, Wyoming, as well as in Canada. This plant is a perennial, bisexual species, and grows to 0.3 m (1 ft 0 in) in height. Its flowers are hermaphrodite.
