About Passiflora bryonioides Kunth

Passiflora bryonioides, commonly known as the cupped passionflower, is a species of flowering plant belonging to the genus Passiflora, in the family Passifloraceae. It is native to specific regions of northern Mexico: Sonora, Chihuahua, Sinaloa, and Guanajuato, as well as to the southwestern United States state of Arizona. This plant is a perennial vine that grows to a maximum height of 2 meters, climbs using tendrils, and produces palmately-lobed leaves. Its flowers are white with purple stripes running along the petals, and its fruits are ovoid and pale green in color.
